In any case, this is just a quick post to say that I may not be updating here as often as I would like in the foreseeable future. I will, of course, try my best – but as most of you know, I do like to keep busy (sometimes too busy?), and I don’t like to produce roughly written pieces either, even if they are only going to be on my humble little blog. I’m not disappearing forever, I’ve just given myself a kick up the bum in terms of being as prepared as I can be for my Honours year, so I’m ramping up the reading, printing, highlighting, and feverish scribbling. Tea and biscuits will be greatly appreciated.
It’s that time of the year when I realise how much study (and work) I have to do, and that I may have overcommitted myself in terms of volunteering, as well as going to concerts and talks. I’ve read a lot of books on India and Rushdie (and it’s barely been a month since I started!) and I know there’s a long way to go yet. I’ve been working on some other non-fiction pieces, and some science communication articles I hope to have published – so the writing is still there. After all, I also have a 15,000 word thesis to produce by the end of the year.
